It also comes with a larger three-panel canopy that offers better sun protection than the smaller, basic models in this review.
Easy to Fold
The simplest umbrella strollers collapse like umbrellas and weigh much less than other kinds of strollers. This makes them easy to carry, lift and store when you don't need or can't bring your full-size stroller for some reason (traveling on an airplane, traveling in the city of your choice, or visiting grandma). These strollers are usually less well-equipped than fully-featured models, but they should provide the basic features including storage and a sun canopy.

A double tri-folded stroller, such as the Joovy Kooper X2 offers all the convenience and comfort of an umbrella stroller in the same form as a full-size stroller. This kind of stroller is quickly replacing the traditional double umbrella model, and it may be your best choice when you're looking for a versatile lightweight stroller for travel.
The majority of double umbrella strollers that we recommend are side-by-side models. The exception is the Kinderwagon Hop, a tandem umbrella stroller that's lightweight and easy to fold (though it's also a bit narrow). If you're looking for a low-cost, simple, no-frills double umbrella stroller you can toss in your trunk or back pack for short trips, we highly recommend this one. It comes with two storage bins that hang from the bag on the back of each seat, as well as cup holders for the parents. It's so basic, you could not get your kids through an airport without making an oath. But it will make your journey more enjoyable.

The G-Link isn't equipped with the bellybar or snack tray we'd love to see on our top picks. However, these features aren't essential for an umbrella stroller. Like all umbrella strollers, the G-Link should be handled with caution to avoid getting your fingers trapped in the hinges and mechanisms.
